Examine our 340B program with thorough auditing of patient encounters with qualified physicians and drug administration. Ensures compliance with 340B split billing for hospital mixed use and contracted retail pharmacy universes. Communicates findings that require an action plan for resolution. The position also assists with external auditors on an as needed basis but at least annually. Functions in assuring maintenance and testing of 340B software. Has a comprehensive understanding of the 340B software and processes. Assures appropriate safeguards and system integrity.
Essential Job Functions

-Specializes and assists with the day to day operations of the 340B program.
- Helps maintain 340B split billing software.
-Helps maintain policy and procedure development for the 340B program.
-Helps monitor ordering processes for the pharmacy department and contract pharmacy relationships.
-Responsible for ensuring 340B pricing is correct for hospital mixed use and contract pharmacy relationships.
-Reviews purchasing information as it relates to the 340B program.
-Heavy focus on auditing of the 340B program by ensuring compliance measures are being met with contract pharmacy relationships and hospital administered drugs.
-Reviews and documents hospital administered drug transactions verifying 340B eligibility.
-Responsible for ensuring information on HRSA database is accurate and aligned with current 340B practices.
-Communicate any findings that require an action plan for resolution.
- Assists with annual external 340B audit.
-Helps serve as a resource to 340B Program Manager through reporting and self- auditing.
-Serves as the primary back-up for pharmacy buyer.
