As Rhode Island’s largest health system and private employer, Lifespan is dedicated to improving the way clinical care, medical research and education, and community services are delivered. The 340B Coordinator will act as a subject matter expert to and provides oversight to all 340B Program Covered Entities within Lifespan, ensuring that the program is maximally utilized by all Covered Entities, that related records are complete, accurate, auditable, and that primary objectives as defined by hospital leadership are met. They are responsible for day-to-day compliant medication procurement, billing, and inventory management to insure compliance standards are being upheld and that cost savings returns are being realized. Also assists with implementation of and adherence to 340B related policies and procedures.
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in business or health related field or current unrestricted Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician licensure and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to provide targeted communication, both verbal and written, to internal and external constituents
Proficient in the use of microcomputers and a variety of spreadsheet and database applications, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Access as well as presentation software including PowerPoint. Knowledge and ability to download, import, and merge information from a variety of sources, platforms, and programs.
Proven analytical and process redesign skills, including but not limited to problem solving, quantitative reasoning, workflow process, etc
2-3 years of 340B Drug Pricing Program experience in healthcare and/or with a healthcare provider is preferred.
