Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy TechnicianI assists the Pharmacist by performing assignments relative to the handling and distribution of pharmaceuticals and related clerical tasks as identified below. Responsibilities: Runs Robot to fill unit dose cassettes according to cart exchange schedule. Delivers and picks up medication to and from the nursing units, adhering to the scheduled timeframes and protocols. (Including Cart exchanges. Fills floor stock requisitions and adjusts inventory to par level as applicable according to unit floor stock par level. Charges and credits for floor stock in timely manner. Maintains dispensing areas with adequate supplies during shift.
