Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Pharmacist for the Pharmacy Department at Overlook Medical Center to work varied shifts, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- This is a per diem evening pharmacist position
- Responsibilities include both distributive and clinical functions.
- Distributive functions include but are not limited, to computer order entry, medication checking, technician supervision, IV preparation.
- Clinical functions include but are not limited to anticoagulation management, antibiotic stewardship initiatives, medication reconciliation, patient counseling.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy required
Minimum Experience:
- 1-2 years hospital experience preferred
- Sterile compounding experience preferred
License/Certifications:
- NJ Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License required
