Inova Cares Clinic in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) PRN Pediatrician. Inova Cares Clinic for Children is a certified Patient Centered Medical Home that provides primary pediatric care for children of low income families with incomes up to 400% of the federal poverty line (FPL). Services include well-child care, immunizations, and sick care for children from birth through 21 years of age. The clinic also provides annual physicals for school and sports activities. The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for helping patients in underserved populations who have nowhere else to go.

ICCC Pediatricians will be expected to:
Complete initial assessment and evaluation of new patients and provides ongoing monitoring of patient's medical condition and provides treatment.
Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures and authorizes and coordinates all specialty and ancillary services.
Provide in-service staff development and clinical teaching of trainees rotating through Medical practice.
Maintain a consultative relationship with nurses, social workers, staff clinic nurse, rehab staff etc.
Participate in the development of such programs as preventive health screening, immunization program, professional community outreach, quality assurance, etc.

Requirements:

• Completion of an appropriate residency program required; 3 years in the active practice of medicine preferred (but not required).
• Completion of Medical Doctorate required.
• Must hold current, active license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia; medical specialty license or certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English strongly preferred
