The role youâ™ll contribute:

The Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager is responsible for all activities regarding the Rx Plus Pharmacists.  This position coordinates the day to day personnel assignments and activities of the pharmacists to assure that all processes are completed in a timely manner and according to the Pharmacyâ™s stated goals.  The Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager hires, trains, and manages members of the pharmacist team and is required to understand all pharmacy processes and positions. This position resolves difficult issues regarding AHS client complaints and other matters that escalate from the customer service staff members.  Provides education to staff, enforces departmental and pharmacy policies, and initiates development plans as needed to assure regulatory compliance and optimal service standards.

·       Maintain pharmacy services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and departmental policies

·       Conduct extensive interviews for new hire recruitment ensuring the right person is hired based on qualifications and skillset as they would fit best within the organization

·       Supervises activities of assigned personnel to assure expected level of services

·       Manages scheduling and approval of time off requests

·       Directs, assesses, and reassigns daily duties/workflow to achieve desired service outcomes

·       Responsible for the performance management and evaluation of assigned personnel

·       Provide financial, metrics, productivity, and med error reports as needed

·       Contributes to the development and review/modification of policies and/or procedures

·       Represents department on interdisciplinary and system level projects/initiatives

·       Assumes staffing or other service responsibilities, as needed

·       Handles routine patient/customer complaints

The expertise and experiences youâ™ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

·       Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree required

·       Previous experience in a supervisory position â“ 3 years

·       5+  years as a practicing pharmacist

·       Current, valid State of Florida Pharmacist license or ability to acquire same within 90 days

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

·       Medication Therapy Management Certification

·       CPR/BLS

·       Florida Consultant Pharmacist License

·       Multi-state Pharmacist Licenses

·       Previous experience in a mail order pharmacy

·       Knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Management

·       Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPA,MPH, MA, MS)

·       Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification

·       Pharmacist preceptor for schools of pharmacy
