As part of our continued growth, Optum is looking for Per Diem Gastroenterologist to join our team in Long Beach. The Clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume.  We want our Clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Optum Clinic – 4910 S. Airport Drive, Long Beach
• Per Diem Schedule: Varied shifts
• Manage care for established patients and new consults, screenings and follow up appointments
• Clinic: Average of 18-21 patients per day
• Work with other Specialists

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted CA Medical License
• Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
• BC Internal Medicine
• BC in Gastroenterology
• Welcome new Grads
• Managed care background a plus
• EMR Proficient
• Excellent time management skills

California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $118,000 to $226,800. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
