This is the heartbeat of our organization and your time will be spent in a supportive, team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success. The Medication Coordinator will be responsible for the ordering and maintaining of all drugs and supplies needed for the oncology practice, sensitive to cost and meeting the yearly drug budget. The coordinator will be responsible for mixing chemotherapy daily for all treatment patients and will also assist in drug prior authorizations with insurance companies. The coordinator will demonstrate technical skill level in utilizing a variety of pharmaceutical competencies including, but not limited to, calculations, aseptic technique and cytotoxic drug precautions in compliance with hospital regulations. What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* High School Diploma/GED, Required.* Active Pharmacy Technician License Certification (Colorado) or Provisional Certification (Colorado), Required.* Provision Certifications must obtain State Certification within 12 months.* Chemotherapy drug mixing experienceMedium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
