As part of our continued growth, we are recruiting for Full-Time General Surgeon to join our team in the Redlands, CA community.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The candidate will perform general surgeries, primarily but not limited to hernias, gall bladders, breasts, and appendectomies at designated locations in Redlands, CA, and Sundance, CA
• 40-hour workweek - 4/10s
• Outpatient Clinic - 3 days per week - pre-op and post-op appointments for wound checks
• Minor procedures can be performed at the clinic (i.e., skin lesions, lipomas, etc.)
• Hospital privileges are required at both San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital and Redlands Community Hospital
• Patient Census - Mostly adults, intermittent peds on a case-by-case basis
• Payor mix - 85% managed care, 15% FFS/PPO/Medicare
• Call coverage required - the expectation is for the candidate to go in if there’s an emergency but most often, issues can be managed from home

Required Qualifications:

• Board eligible/Board certified in General Surgery by the ABS
• Unrestricted California Physician License
• Current California DEA certificate prior to start date
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills and time management
