St. Luke's Cancer Institute Pharmacy is seeking an Oncology Pharmacy Technician

Monday through Friday Day shift

St. Luke's Cancer Institute Oncology Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in preparing medications including oral chemotherapy and IV chemotherapy.

As an Oncology Technician, you will help process insurance claims, prior authorizations, work closely with the financial team for drug program needs, and will dispense medications to patients.

You will also prepare sterile IV admixtures in a clean room setting to be administered to our outpatient patients. Most of our technicians work in the clean room throughout the day and split other tasks such as purchasing, cleaning, stocking, and preparing for the following day's treatment plans.

St. Luke's Cancer Institute works with a small team of technicians and pharmacists in the Magic Valley who treat our community through an institute Twin Falls. Our Oncology teams have close interactions with our providers, nursing staff, and patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician License required
• Two (2) years' experience preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
