We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Trauma Surgery team at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN! 

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Day shift
  • 3 13-hour shifts / week  
  • Weekend Rotation of every 4th weekend
  • No call
  • 100% Inpatient  
  • Team includes 10 physicians and 10 advanced providers
  • Patient census of approximately 30/week

Key Responsibilities:

  • New consults
  • Inpatient evaluation/rounding
  • Surgical first assist in the OR 
  • Pre-op assessment and patient consent before surgery 
  • Procedural requirements: Aspirations, Joint Injections, Application of splits and casts 

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required
  • Candidate must be motivated, proactive and a hard worker 
  • Candidate must have the skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • APP experience in orthopedics, trauma and/or surgery required
