Performs medication order functions such as order interpretation, preparation, drug distribution, and quality assurance. Provides exemplary customer service and respect at all times during interactions with patients, customers, healthcare providers and other associates. The outpatient/retail pharmacy technician is responsible for all pharmacy technician activities and adhering to assigned work schedules. Provide direction and guidance to other technicians and pharmacy interns during their training in pharmacy drug distribution and operational matters when requested.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:  * Prior retail or hospital outpatient pharmacy technician experience, preferred* High School Diploma or GED required.* Pharmacy Technician Certification required upon hireSchedule: Variable (Mon-Fri 745-615, Sat/Sun 10-2) - hours subject to change   Physical Requirements:Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
