Researches backorders and locates substitute products as necessary. Establish reports for reviewing procurement of pharmaceuticals. Researches best possible source of procurement with the goal of achieving maximum contract compliance and works with Contract Analysts to obtain crossreferencing information. Collects, analyzes, and presents data relating to group purchasing to VP. Evaluates and orders narcotics based on facility process for ordering and in conjunction with DEA requirements.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * 1 year hospital pharmacy experience as a pharmacy technician or similar experience* Knowledge of medical terminology and drug nomenclature * Competency with computer based automated purchase order system Experience with analytical research Computer competency - Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Project)* Hight School Diploma or GED required.* BS in Finance or Accounting preferred* CPHT is required within 6 months of hire or transfer  Daytime shift rotating weekends; very flexible on actual shift but it would all be during daytime Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
