At Centura Health, we value incredible people with incredible skills - but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.  In conjunction with pharmacy management and the assigned departmental IT pharmacist (if applicable), this position is responsible for the management of the pharmacy automated distribution system (Pyxis System). Position will be the focal point of contact and is primarily responsible for answering questions and trouble shooting problems and issues concerning the Pyxis system. Will also be responsible for assistance in the processing of new equipment installations, assistance with implementing sofware and hardware upgrades and addressing technical concerns with the IT pharmacist (if appliacble) as well as the local Pyxis application specialists and engineers. This position is the primary contact with Pyxis customer support when practical and possible. Must be competent in solving hardware and sofware issues related to the Pyxis system. Position may also function in the Pharmacy Technician II position as required.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* High School Diploma, required* Active Pharmacy Technician License (Kansas), Certification (Colorado) or Provisional Certification (Colorado), Required. Provision Certificaitons must obtain State Certification within 12 months* 1 year hospital or retail experience (as applicable)* Completion of an Accredited Technician training course may not be substituted for experience* Working knowledge of Pyxis automated systems* Must be competent in related common hardware and software troubleshooting * Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelYour Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
