This position serves as the Emergency Department (ED) Intermediate Care Technician (ICT) and is assigned to the Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA). This position serves as an advanced technician for the ED for patients who are present for treatment and is located at the VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. To qualify for this position at the GS-7 level, you must meet one of the following: ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), No person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English. You must be proficient in basic written and spoken English in order to meet the requirements of this position. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) full year of specialized experie
