Pharmacy Tech PRN Rotating Position Summary

Staff pharmacists monitor patient drug therapies including choice of drug, drug dosage, frequency, avoiding drug interactions, duplications, and drug allergies. Provide drug information to physicians and nurses, dose drugs under protocol, and fill orders for oral and injectable medications.

THE PHARMACY TECH PRN ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum Experience: No previous experience required. 1 to 2 years of experience as hospital tech preferred.

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: Pharmacy Tech certification preferred. BLS Certification required.
