Position Highlights

• Practice as a Ophthalmologist to the full scope of your license! Our office is fully equipped to handle all office procedures
• Anterior-segment Ophthalmologist to treat our patients suffering from cataracts is preferred  
• 30 - 40 patients per day
• 10 -15 surgeries on surgery days
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Minimal call time
• Patient rooms, office space and Medical Assistants will be ready for you on day one

Required Qualifications:

• Current MD/DO medical license in the state of New Mexico
• Board Certified Ophthalmologist or in the process of obtaining certification
• New Mexico Pharmacy/DEA Registration if applicable to practice
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in EMR systems & technology
• Experience in providing patient care under a Global Risk/Medicare Advantage Model
