The Practice Coordinator supports the onboarding, care delivery efficiencies, and performance of physician, advanced practice, and psychotherapist provider groups by promoting cross-departmental collaboration, providing practice management, and financial and analytic support. This position will work closely and take direction from the service line executive leadership team.
New provider onboarding support:
Manage onboarding check list of all tasks involved in onboarding a new provider. Partner with provider and clinic teams to insure all onboarding needs are met.
Act as the primary contact during orientation week.
Collaborate with Fairview Provider Enrollment to ensure providers are enrolled with payers.
Attend provider and operations meetings as assigned.
Coordinate provider out of pocket expense reimbursement for approved expenses.
Manage provider practice area spreadsheet and resignation report.
Establish productivity targets in coordination with operational leadership.
Provide volume and productivity data
Participate in schedule/registration/utilization review team meetings as applicable.
Create and manage provider templates and schedules
Provide caseload reports to providers and management upon provider resignation and leave of absence and by the request of the leader / provider to support panel management.
Support accreditation / licensure of services.
Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency and innovative thinking.
Performs other duties as assigned
Education: Bachelors degree in business, healthcare administration, or human services related field or an associates degree with minimum of 5 years directly related experience
Experience: 2 years of experience working in the field of healthcare or business; proficiency with Microsoft Office
Education: Masters degree in business, behavioral health, or related field.
Experience: 5 years of experience working in the field of healthcare or business; experience working with medical providers; previous practice management experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
