Buffalo is a medium sized city on Lake Erie with many of the cultural advantages of a much larger metropolis. These include an internationally regarded art museum, symphony orchestra, NFL and NHL franchises, a burgeoning theater scene, and a reinvigorated downtown. In addition to the lake, skiing, wineries, the Finger Lakes and Canada are nearby. Buffalo also boasts a relatively short commute to work from both urban and suburban locations, while housing is affordable. There are excellent public and private school options available.
