Primarily responsible for leading and strategically growing Pharmacy Innovation Alliance (PIA) pharmacy network. As the managing partner for the network, this role is responsible for partnering with members of the PIA to develop and implement industry leading pharmacy programs and care delivery solutions. The PIA is comprised of health system (HS) participants who have the structural capacity and have individually and collectively agreed to the network's conditions of participation. The conditions governing the network are necessary to achieve the scale, and synergies need to create industry leading innovation within today's healthcare environment. The collaborative seeks to develop solutions that address the challenges of HS pharmacy whereby allowing PIA members to differentiate themselves by leveraging the healthcare ecosystem.
Developing synergies between HS and PIA solutions.
Establish a performance measurement, documentation and dissemination plan as it relates to PIA initiatives and programs.
Advance network programs that result in a demonstrable ROI for PIA members.
Establish pharmacy programs that create alignment between PIA members and manufacturers, wholesalers, etc. whereby enabling enhanced value-add contracting opportunities.
Responsible for establishing and advancing PIA solutions that reduces the reliance on GPO services and transitions value creation to the aggregate PIA members.
Responsible for cultivating and implementing advanced innovative contracting models for the PIA members.
Responsible for actively generating innovative solutions, strategies and/or technologies that advances HS services, whereby addressing PIA member needs.
Serve as a subject matter expert on innovation and program offers within the HS pharmacy marketplace and support the both current and prospective members.
Work with PIA members to create intellectual capital materials that positions the PI as an industry thought leader through multimodal platforms and engagements.
Responsible for monitoring and managing changes to guidelines, regulations, legislation, GPO programs, and competitive pressures, that necessitate changes to PIA strategies.
Responsible for regular communication to PIA members, executive partners and key stakeholders.
