About Colorado Mountain Medical
The mission of Colorado Mountain Medical (CMM) is to provide high-quality, affordable health care in a safe, convenient and comfortable environment. In July 2019, Colorado Mountain Medical and Vail Health entered into a new partnership, one that combined the primary care expertise of Colorado Mountain Medical with the extensive network of Vail Health, creating an integrated community healthcare system. Colorado Mountain Medical is the largest physician group in Eagle County with offices in Vail, Avon, Eagle, and Edwards and services in Frisco in Summit County. Colorado Mountain Medical and Vail Health will also be expanding services to Dillon with the opening of a medical facility in late 2021. Colorado Mountain Medical is the result of the 1996 merger of Vail Mountain Medical and Vail Internal Medicine, two established local medical groups that had served the community since the 1970s. The legacy of those Vail medical pioneers is carried on through Colorado Mountain Medical’s commitment to total family care - from wellness, behavioral health, and preventative medicine to specialized care for the treatment of injury or illness. Specialties include: Behavioral Health, Dermat...ology, Endocrinology, ENT, Family Practice, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, OBGYN, Pediatrics, and Urology. In addition, Colorado Mountain Medical offers urgent care services, providing same-day and walk-in appointments for patients with acute injury or illness as a convenient and affordable alternative to the Emergency Department for non-life-threatening medical issues. Whether a local resident, or a visitor to the resort area, patients will experience the highest quality healthcare at Colorado Mountain Medical.
