Assists the pharmacist in the preparation of various medications, supplies and I.V. solutions that have been prescribed for patients at North Shore Medical Center. Then delivers those items to specific patient locations within the facility or loads and restocks items into the assigned locations within the appropriate Automated Dispensing Machines located throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
Education
Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
Experience
Preferred:
Previous hospital experience is desirable but, willing to training individuals with previous retail experience or recent graduates of pharmacy technician training program.
Must be able to work variable work shifts (days, evenings, nights) and be able to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Must be willing to provide overtime staffing in times of emergency such as staffing shortages due to illness or vacations, emergency situations such as man-made or natural disasters.
Certifications
Required: Must have a current and valid Pharmacy Technician License for the State of Florida
