This position is responsible for performing complex duties within the pharmacy and areas served by the pharmacy and requires extensive working knowledge of pharmacy policies and procedures and the electronic health record (EHR). The position requires specialized knowledge of pharmacy operations, pharmacy automation, and DEA regulations and controlled substance policies. The position requires a comprehensive knowledge of VHA, VISN, and local formulary management guidelines and restrictions.
