Position Information:

 

The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (VAECHCS), Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC), in Aurora CO, is seeking a full-time Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist, who is also Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, and has Advanced Training or post-training experience in Peripheral Artery and Complex Coronary Intervention (beyond a standard Interventional Cardiology fellowship). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interest and accomplishment in clinical or health services research and a commitment to excellence in teaching and training of residents and fellows. Additional preferred qualifications include Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certification and ongoing productivity in research reflected by scientific publications, extramural funding, and/or experience conducting clinical trials. Work Schedule: Mondays – Fridays, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with Shared Call Responsibilities and may include weekends and holiday coverage.

  • Must have active unencumbered US State Medical License
  • Must be BC in Interventional Cardiology and BC in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Must have advanced training or experience in Peripheral Artery Disease Intervention
  • Additional Preference: RPVI Certification and ongoing productivity in research reflected by scientific publications, extramural funding and/or experience conducting clinical trials
