Maintains up to date knowledge of 340B Program requirements and objectives.
Develop an understanding of the split billing software system and functions to be performed.
Ensure qualification for the program are met and maintained.
Ensure compliance with 340B program requirements for qualifying patients, drugs and locations.
Monitor the use of split billing software for hospital-based 340B Program for accuracy of data and purchases of drugs consistent with program requirements
Accurately track 340B billing software issues, investigate and provide solutions
Monitor routinely 340B data feeds and accumulations to ensure software and tools are working properly and accurately.
Establish a routine approach to updating the CDM/Crosswalk for new products, product changes or errors to ensure both accuracy of the utilization and accuracy of the charge process in conjunction with pharmacy and drug purchasing areas.
Monthly performs audits or compliance assessments of specific areas and specific products to ensure the CDM is accurate, charges are coming across accurately, and that the utilization numbers are translating accurately for 340B reorders.
Updates and maintains replenishment processes.
Creates and updates policies and procedures on 340B processes.
Update for regulatory changes
Update for NMHS standardization of policies and procedures.
Create and update standard work: e.g. provides staff with necessary steps/information to place orders using the appropriate accounts (e.g. WAC, GPO and 340B) and to replenish inventory in the mixed-use inventory setting.
Conducts monthly self-audits of the hospital-based outpatient 340B program to ensure compliance with the 340B program policies and procedures. Immediately reports any discrepancies/deviations to the 340B Program Director.
Works closely with the System Director and finance department on proper recording of inventory, stats, gross margin and 340B savings impact
Track and report program savings on a regular basis; communicates to the 340B leadership team on an ongoing basis
Performs routine and thorough analysis of 340B program processes/information for:
Quarterly price changes: e.g. perform a thorough review of the new 340B pricing list searching for costly changes to be detected quickly and addressed.
Contract price changes.
Negative accumulation monitoring.

Works with Medication Assistance Program Coordinators and other financial assistance groups to help mitigate cost as a barrier to medication compliance.
Actively participates in value assessments for new 340B proposed locations of care.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or systems-based field required
340B University training program desired or completion with 3 months of hire
ACE certification preferred, completion within 6 months
Previous pharmacy operations experience or knowledge preferred
Must be able to function in rapidly changing environment
Analytical skill necessary to evaluate problems and develop plans and procedures to achieve resolution
Prior experience with and proficient in the use of analytic-type software (e.g. Excel, Business Objects).
Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem solving skills; multitasking, change tasks frequently and quickly
Ability to complete projects timely and accurately
Adapt to change in workload and schedule to meet program needs
Self-started; able to work independently with minimum supervision and follow through on assignments.
Ability to work in a shared office setting, (e.g. sit at a desk and computer for long periods of time).
Prior analyst/analytics experience required
Experience in healthcare, especially a hospital-based setting is preferred
General knowledge/use of Microsoft Office
