A Pharmacist serves as a representative of the Pharmacy Service in a variety of positions throughout the Medical Center. The practice of Pharmacy consists of direct and indirect patient care, drug therapy monitoring, and patient education. A Pharmacist is specially prepared by education and experience (i.e., license, continuing education, etc.) to skillfully apply a knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics in the clinical management of patients.
