POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Senturion Consulting Advisor, you will promote continuous quality improvement and other initiatives to drive compliance and revenue integrity for our Sentinel and Sentrex deployments across the client portfolio.  Reporting to the Director, Professional Services, you will lead client members in consultative project engagements and provide enterprise-scale diagnostics, validate performance models, and sponsor quality, compliance and revenue improvement initiatives. 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This role will require significant hands-on work with clients in the community as well as with internal Sentry departments and stakeholders, with day-to-day responsibilities including:

  • Provide 340B consultant pharmacy services across the client portfolio, in accordance with all guidelines and professional standards of practice.
  • Promoting Sentry services in a proactive and positive manner to maximize customer satisfaction and increase incremental sales and/or integration opportunities for the organization.
  • perform complex analyses and research in such areas as drug utilization analytics, clinical utilization, pharmacy program profit and loss, regulatory, and others.
  • Contribute to the design and development of client’s 340B operations and improved approaches with corresponding transformation roadmaps, including:
    • Conduct requirements workshops with the client team and internal subject matter experts, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated deliverables
    • Collates, modifies, and creates business requirements
    • Perform high level business value analysis of requirements and gaps
  • Design charts, graphs, tables, and reports to support findings and develop client and program recommendations.
  • Develop and deploy standardized tools for advising on client 340B programs to include:
    • Review pharmacy purchase data to identify coverage issues, contract price loading issues, and other pricing discrepancies.
    • Identify and maintain custom analytics that support pharmacy strategies and medication utilization.
    • Interpret trends, regulatory changes and/or forecasts to anticipate impact for the client.
    • Analyze transactional data, dispensing files, and claims files for eligible 340B claims.
  • Keep abreast of regulations, policy changes from HRSA/OPA, and industry publications which impact compliance of the 340B program.
  • Remain accountable for fostering an effective working relationship among the various team members involved with the successful execution of the 340B program.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience with the 340B Program required.
  • Must have experience managing complex projects through the entire project lifecycle; PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar professional certification preferred.
  • As project planning and status reports are key in managing scoped client work efforts, must understand the dependencies, complexity, and priorities of the loads and the impact on overall client project.
  • Deep understanding of how the data fits in with the client’s 340B program and possible issues with legacy data and conflicts with program compliance is a critical skill for this role.
  • Must understand cross functional dependencies and communicates with the functional teams.
  • Ability to simplify difficult situations, models and issues to create executable actions by translating analytical findings into easy-to-understand and actionable business information for customers and colleagues needed.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel needed.
  • Ability and flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Three years pharmacy consulting experience preferred, or other relevant foundation in consultant versus industry.
  • Apexus Advanced 340b Operations Certificate strongly preferred or must become certified within 6 months of hire to be considered.
  • Experience with MS Access, and MS PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various HIS systems such as EPIC, Meditech, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.
  • Post-graduate degree preferred.

TRAVEL
This position requires up to 25% travel. Travel is outside the local area and overnight.
