We are actively seeking an PATIENT ACCESS III REP to join the Conifer Health Solutions team at ST. RAPHAEL - a brand-new stand-alone micro Emergency Center located near Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson (Near I-10 and South Wilmot)!

What You'll Do
-Accurately complete full patient registration, including financial and legal aspects
-Comply with all laws protecting patient information
-Schedule surgical procedures, conduct physician/patient interviews, and explain hospital policies with world-class customer service
-Provide full patient financial counseling and education
-Verify insurance, benefits, coverage and eligibility
-Obtain insurance authorization
-Collaborate with doctors, nurses and staff to provide outstanding care to all patients

-Great typing skills and computer experience

-Understanding of medical terminology preferred
-Enthusiasm to work with patients from diverse backgrounds
-Bilingual Spanish-English a HUGE plus

What You Will Need to be Successful
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Flexibility and availability! Hospitals are always open to serve the needs of the community. Though our leaders work hard to provide you a steady schedule, the best candidates are available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
-2 or more years of Patient Access, Patient Registration, Patient Financial Services or Scheduling preferred
-2 to 4 years of experience in a medical facility, health insurance or related area preferred
-Availability to work hours and days as needed based on departmental needs
-Ability to lift or carry up to 25 lbs or occasionally push a wheelchair to assist patients (with or without reasonable accommodations)
