The Medical Director will have a clinical practice and rotate on the inpatient medical oncology consult service.  This individual will report to the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Oncology Physician Services (ACMO) for all employment, professional and quality-related responsibilities, and the VP, Oncology Services, for all clinical operations.  The Medical Director will work closely with the ACMO, VP, Oncology Services, and Medical Directors for Radiation, Infusion and Supportive Care & Survivorship, Director of Nursing, Director of Physicians' Practice and Business, SJHMC leaders, and the Clinical Trial Office Leadership.

The successful candidate will be/have:

  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
  • Acceptable references from a supervisor, peer, and subordinate; from a registered nurse; and potentially from a research mentor
  • Willing to abide by and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of CommonSpirit Health
