We are hiring a staffing clerk who will develop weekly and monthly schedules for assisgned departments within the hospital.
.6 FTE or 48 hours per two weeks
Day/evening shift rotation
8 and 12 hour shifts
Location: Fairview Lakes Medical Center, Wyoming, MN
The staffing clerk serves in a staff support position to the Directors of Care Delivery and their nurse managers by creating, adjusting and archiving staffing schedules for employees of Fairview Lakes Medical Center, and does payroll editing and approving to insure that employees are paid correctly. Works in a cooperative manner with leaders and employees to insure that staff are present to provide safe staff-to-patient ratios or to meet fixed staffing requirements.
Previous healthcare experience.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: staffing, scheduling, or payroll.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and problem solving skills.
Attention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency with the ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software.
Must be able to work independently and multi-task.
