Essential Job Functions
-Comprehensive understanding of the 340B program.
-Comprehensive understanding of the 340B software and processes for mixed use universe and contract pharmacy relationships
-Specializes and assists with the day to day operations of the 340B program.
- Helps maintain 340B split billing software.
-Helps maintain policy and procedure development for the 340B program.
-Helps monitor ordering processes for the pharmacy department and contract pharmacy relationships.
-Responsible for ensuring 340B pricing is correct for hospital mixed use and contract pharmacy relationships.
-Reviews purchasing information as it relates to the 340B program.
-Heavy focus on auditing of the 340B program by ensuring compliance measures are being met with contract pharmacy relationships and hospital administered drugs.
-Reviews and documents hospital administered drug transactions verifying 340B eligibility.
-Responsible for ensuring information on HRSA database is accurate and aligned with current 340B practices.
-Communicate any findings that require an action plan for resolution.
- Assists with annual external 340B audit.
-Helps serve as a resource to 340B Program Manager through reporting and self- auditing.
-Serves as the primary back-up for pharmacy buyer.
