The 340B Analyst maintains and audits 340b eligible transactions and 340b eligible product accumulations for accuracy of data. The Analyst keeps records of audit activity and database changes of 340b products for compliance and audits.
Audits charges uploaded to third-party accumulator for accuracy and eligibility.
Maintains the Billing Units Per Package (BUPP) and charge master: NDC crosswalk.
Tracks detailed drugs purchases and usage at the NDC level to ensure compliance with replenishment requirements set by the Federal Office of Pharmacy Affairs.
Monitors and audits state Medicaid claims to ensure compliance to avoid for potential duplicate discount rebates.
Meets on a regular basis with various departments to ensure that maintenance of databases containing NDC numbers accuracy and alignment with purchasing databases.
Meets regularly with Director of System Pharmacy Operations and 340b Analyst team.
Maximizes the value opportunity for the program and is involved in all 340b audits.
Maintains an up to date policy and procedure manual on 340b purchasing.
Maintains copies of reports for compliance and audit purposes.
Develops reports, but not limited to, those that can be used to educate staff, assist management in tracking the overall financial contribution to the D-H organization.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 2 years of relevant accounting experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must possess advanced knowledge and experience in databases such as Brio, Excel, and especially Access with the ability to write macros and simple programming.
Prior experience with pharmacy applications as EPIC or 340B split billing software, and experience as pharmacy technician preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills required.
Strong problem solving and customer service skills, along with solid oral and written communication skills required.
