We are searching for a Pharmacy 340B Program Manager to structure and oversee a Southcoast Health compliance plan with a focus on the Federal 340B drug pricing program, inclusive of all Southcoast Health locations and contract Pharmacy relationships under the direction of the Executive Director, Pharmacy or designee. The position will support and optimize the 340B utilization and associated pharmacy drug purchasing; monitor and audit compliance with all regulations and related interpretations; maintain policy & procedures; and provide contact and oversight for both internal and external vendors and stakeholders. The 340B Program Manager is an integral team member who works closely with departmental and system leadership and staff to drive education, compliance and support, as well as maintain legal, regulatory and financial standards while maximizing operational performance. Demonstrated self-starter and team player who possesses substantial interpersonal skills and drug nomenclature knowledge. Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities while leading change and diplomatically challenging the status quo. Other related duties as assigned. May provide functional or technical supervision over employees in same or closely related classification. May assume charge responsibility at infrequent intervals.
Hours: 40hrs (full time)Shift: Day Shift 8:00am – 4:30pm flexibility with start and end times needed
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, analytics, or a healthcare related field is required, MBA preferred.
Minimum 2 years of 340B experience or minimum of 4 years of analytical experience is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting principles, including ability to prepare and interpret spreadsheets and financial reports.
Must work effectively as a team member and team leader and prioritize work effectively.
Working knowledge and understanding of medication and contract terminology, 340B rules and regulations, contracts and pharmacy contracting principles and practices preferred.
Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues and drive improvement.
Demonstrated knowledge of intermediate to advanced level skill with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, other healthcare and billing systems relevant to this position.
