The 340 B Program Manager oversees the compliance and operations of the 340B program. This also includes monitoring of the split billing software.
Experience in 340b operations is required.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, plus at least three years of experience in a hospital pharmacy practice is preferred.
Requires knowledge of the accepted practices, procedures, regulations, and techniques applicable to the practice of pharmacy.
Requires computer skills and knowledge of office-based programs and pharmacy software programs.
Requires licensure is considered minimal competence unless an event of error occurs. Must have the analytical ability to evaluate problem situations in-depth and come to independent conclusions. Must have the ability to use independent judgment and discretion.
Must have the ability and flexibility and self-motivation to juggle several projects simultaneously to cope successfully with diversity, complexity, and pressure.
Must have the ability and capacity to compose memos, letters, or reports in clear, concise fashion with appropriate grammar, vocabulary and word usage.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with patient, peers, subordinates, superiors, and others on a one-to-one basis using appropriate vocabulary, grammar, and word usage. Must have the ability to exhibit effective listening skills. Must have the ability to exhibit good public speaking skills for making presentations as necessary.
