Responsible for day to day management, compliance review, and operations of the 340B program including; clinic administered medications in eligible locations, mixed use areas managed by split billing software, outpatient prescriptions fulfilled by an owned pharmacy and outpatient prescriptions fulfilled by a contract 340B pharmacy. This position is the key internal liaison to key stakeholders to help ensure appropriate and maximal usage of all of our 340B programs, including the contract 340B pharmacy program. Also serves as contact for community based, contracted 340B pharmacies. This individual will also evaluate the required documentation for compliance for all aspects of the program as well as the revenue and expense reports produced for the contract pharmacies and ensure on-going compliance with HRSA and all state and federal statutes.
Associates Degree and minimum 2-4 years’ experience in healthcare related field required. Extensive working knowledge of various computer platforms and applications, analytical and project management skills and excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing and be able to articulate complex ideas for all levels of audiences a must. Should be proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point. On the job training for 340B statutes, compliance, guidelines and policies. Billing experience and retail and/or Hospital Pharmacy with drug wholesaler applications experience preferred. Medical Terminology certificate or training preferred. Will use pharmacy drug wholesaler software, 340B software, Windows-based technologies including World Wide Web and Macro Helix and Talyst Autosplit.
