Purpose of Position: Under the direction and supervision of the 340B & Pharmacy Purchasing Supervisor, assists the 340B & purchasing team in monitoring, auditing, managing, maintaining, and implementing pharmacy 340B programs; Works in conjunction with information technology and pharmacy vendors in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and state and federal laws; Remains responsible for performing 340B compliance and financial auditing.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution required. Master’s Degree from an accredited educational institution preferred.
Experience: Data analysis experience required. Three years auditing/financial analyst/similar 340B experience preferred.Pharmacy practice in an ambulatory or acute care practice and advanced information technology experience supporting pharmacy applications preferred. Project management experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials: Washington State Pharmacy Assistant, Technician, or Pharmacist License preferred. Current valid WA State Driver’s License required.
Other: Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Location of Work: Work is performed in office location at KRMC’s main campus and other campus locations (e.g. clinic sites).
Equipment Used: Work requires the use of computers and other standard analytical and auditing software and/or equipment
Physical Demands: Work is active and requires frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 40 lbs. Requires sitting intermittently during work shift 1-2 hours continuously and standing up to 1-2 hours continuously. Climbing to retrieve supplies may be occasionally required.
Hours of Work: Day shift (shift times may vary depending on business and department needs).
Exposure to Hazards: There is exposure to toxic substances such as chemotherapy medications and other chemicals. OSHA category 3.

Performs audits on a scheduled basis; may involve presenting and resolving reconciliation issues as they arise during the monitoring and reconciliation process.
Performs regular audits of contract pharmacies, clinics, hospital practices, or other areas as assigned.
Works within KRMC approved/contracted vendors to facilitate expected outcomes of service.
Performs regular self-audits of 340B pharmacy operations.
Participates in all 340B program audits.
Performs any needed corrective action as identified during the monitoring, auditing, or reconciliation processes.
Ensures compliance with 340B program requirements for qualified patients, drugs, and locations.
Monitors and audits state Medicaid claims to ensure compliance to present potential duplicate discount rebates.
Ensures compliance with all GPO Prohibition rules.
Maintains copies of reports for compliance and audit purposes.
Constructs appropriate financial metrics to assess areas of improvement.
Develops and maintains 340B program reports detailing volume, financial value, & other reporting metrics as needed.
Operates a vehicle.
Performs other duties as assigned.
