Clinical Nurse Practice Leaders are specialized RNs who are responsible to function as a member of the Emergency Department team by providing nursing expertise across disciplines. Using highly developed critical thinking skills, this registered nurse will collaborate with ED nurses and physicians to design, implement and lead quality care initiatives that will improve patient outcomes and patient safety. Our Clinical Nurse Practice Leaders also work with unit based educators, ensuring up to date competencies and that evidence based practices are utilized.
Masters Degree in Nursing required
5 years of clinical experience in area of expertise
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent collaboration and consultation skills required
Must be familiar with process redesign
Excellent communication and teamwork skills required
ED/Emergency Department nursing experience.
Quality nursing experience.
