With a solid foundation, you’re prepared to provide the highest level of care to patients through the evidence based model of practice. As a busy clinic, the behavioral health technician will need to remain flexible, calm and organized throughout the day and exercise strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize with a high level of professionalism.
The BHC will meet with patients for one hour appointments for initial assessments and follow-up appointments for 30 minutes. Within the first six months the BHC will be expected to exhibit a strong understanding of the evidence based model through the review of progress notes, assessments and provider communication. In this position, you will work with a variety of patients, providing exceptional growth opportunities.

Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or closely related human service field
LCSW or LCPC clinical licensure
Computer and keyboarding skills
Personal transportation with a valid Illinois driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance
Successfully pass background check and drug test
